One of the great features of the web is the accessibility of information. The World Public Library (WPL) has a ton of books and articles you can search online and read on your screen. But what if you would like to read the information without being online or using a computer? Now you can print a paper-bound book containing the results of your WPL research using the PrintQ link (powered by QOOP) on the WPL site and have a custom-made book of your search results mailed directly to your door.
To create your personal reference book, do a search on the WPL site for the topic you are interested in. When the list of articles and books appears in the search results, you can view them on screen or add them to your PrintQ. Add as many articles and books as you want to your PrintQ, then click on the Print button when you are ready to print your results. And you have the option of printing the items individually or merging the documents into a compendium. (Note: You must be a WPL member to view and print individual listings from the search results. However, the cost is minimal; visit he WPL website [http://worldlibrary.net] for information on membership rates or to join.)
Think of it as the world's largest bookstore that makes custom books to your specifications. And it's easy to use with great prices, so why not try it out?
